The 2007-2008 PCDC Board

Chair David Blanchard David discovered contra dancing in about 1995 when he moved to Portland from Salem. He plays guitar and mandolin and has been strumming with the Megaband since 1999 or so.
Secretary Tim Gojio Tim has been contra dancing since about 1993 ("Contra Rocks!") when he started dancing at the Ballard Eagles. He enjoys calling contra dances, zydeco dancing, playing piano and singing. He also has a day job to allow him to be able to dance. "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we may as well dance."
Treasurer Rick Kimball Rick has been the bookkeeper for PCDC since October of 2003 and has been a part of the dance community since 1996. He doesn't play an instrument, has called one dance (in drag) and just plain loves to dance.
Contra Committee Kim Appleberry Kim started dancing at the age of 14 when he found it was a way to actually touch girls. It’s been working ever since. He met his wife, Christine, here at the PCDC dance. At different times in his life he was doing folk dancing,60’s rock & roll, cajun, clogging, swing and was introduced to contra dancing in 1990. He finds it to be about the most fun an old guy like him can have.
English Committee Isabelle Zifcak Isabelle was required by the Witness Protection Act to not divulge any aspect of her personal history. She is currently married to George and does both contra and English dancing.
